Born in Bushey, near London (UK), Sasha Fenton became a professional astrologer, palmist and Tarot card reader in 1974, but she tailed off her consultancy business once her writing career took off. She has written about 119 books, mainly on mind, body and spirit subjects, with sales of over 6.5 million copies and translations into twelve different languages. Sasha now runs Zambezi Publishing Ltd with her husband, Jan Budkowski. Sasha wrote the stars column for “Woman’s Own” magazine for six years, and a monthly column on astrology and palmistry for the “Sunday People's Weekend Magazine”. She has written articles for every national newspaper and major magazine in Britain and many overseas publications as well. She has contributed a chapter to “Llewellyn's Sun Sign Book” every year for the past ten years, she writes regular articles for the British Astrological and Psychic Society’s Mercury Magazine and now also their stars column. She has broadcast on every British radio station and most television stations, sometimes on a regular basis, as time and circumstances allow. Sasha has broadcast in the USA, Australia, South Africa and Bophuthatswana. (Where’s that? It was a homeland state in South Africa, now re-integrated back into South Africa.) She has taught, lectured and broadcast all over the world, including at the prestigious Mind, Body and Spirit Festivals in London, Sydney and Melbourne, and at events in Johannesburg and Cape Town. A past President of the British Astrological and Psychic Society (BAPS), Sasha has recently been elected to the BAPS Presidency for a second time. She is a past Chair for the Advisory Panel on Astrological Education, and past member of the Executive Council of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain. Sasha’s first husband, Tony Fenton died some time ago. Sasha is now married to Jan Budkowski and they run Zambezi Publishing Ltd between them. They have two children, two granddaughters and a lovable dog. |
