In world terms, the physical upheavals of floods, earthquakes and tsunamis are not over. It looks as though the next violent event will be a volcano or avalanche. Let’s hope this happens in an unpopulated area. Better news comes in the form of a health breakthrough, possibly signalling relief for those with a chronic ailment.

Aries
You are no shrinking violet at the best of times, but during June and July, nothing will impede your progress. Your competitive streak will get you everywhere, but beware of moving so fast that you alienate others. August and September make you unusually canny about money, so trawl the shops and seek out some bargains.

Taurus
It isn’t in your nature to gamble, but a hot tip in June could send you out to take a chance on something – or someone. It’s a good thing that you like to cook and entertain, because people will beat a path to your door. You will be more than ready for a romantic break in September.

Gemini
Saturn’s movement into Leo in July ends a long period of financial stress and you can even plan a summer holiday without worrying too much about the cost. However, you might feel the need to keep at least a month’s money in hand, in case you suddenly decide to change your job.

Cancer
Saturn has been living in your sign for so long that you will almost miss the old misery when it finally moves out in July. You have learned some hard lessons in recent years, and a distinct lack of fun has left its mark. Now you can relax a little and look forward with optimism.

Leo
While the arrival of Saturn in your sign can hardly be a cause for celebration, at least it will bring structure to your life. You may have been dislocated or floating about without any real purpose over the past couple of years, but now your efforts will pay off - as long as you make some.

Virgo
It isn’t like you to pick fights, but you may do just that towards the end of June. If your nearest and dearest have been taking advantage of your good nature, you will see that this cannot go on. Start to save for something that you would like for yourself, such as clothes or some new CDs.

Libra
Jupiter turning direct in your own sign early in June suggests that this summer will be a time of expansion and of fun. Gambles will pay off and you can do more to make money, but you must try to keep your feet on the ground and not allow your natural lack of practicality to overcome you.

Scorpio
If you are a lonely lady, it is no good expecting Prince Charming to jump out of the TV and sweep you off your feet, so get out and about and you will find that special someone. Scorpios of either sex and in any kind of relationship will rekindle the romance and passion.

Sagittarius
It’s the turn of those born from the 15^th of December onwards to experience the major changes that have already affected other Sagittarians. The changes may be welcome, but they will still take a lot of adjusting to. Other Sagittarians can throw off their cares for a while in June and July.

Capricorn
Full moons in your sign in both June and July are unusual enough, and these point to an explosion in the relationship and partnership area of your life. Coupled with Saturn crossing a sensitive cusp in July, the feeling is that you either need to make a commitment or get out while the going is good.

Aquarius
Chiron has arrived in your sign and it will stay there for some months, so if you spend too much time working or doing things for others, your health will suffer. Most Aquarians enjoy sports and games, so get out from behind that computer, leave others to sort their own lives out, and play something.

Pisces
June and July look like fun, but a nasty dose of reality could come your way in August. You soon gather your wits and find new avenues for moneymaking, though. Uranus acts like a whirlwind to those born around the end of February and the beginning of March, but this may be a good thing.
